Flip Sticks for More Scent
If you would like to increase the scent intensity of your reed diffuser, just simply flip the sticks. Remember to always flip diffuser sticks over a paper towel and to wipe bottle afterwards so there is no chance of oil dripping onto your table/surface.
Less Sticks = Less Scent
In small spaces, like bathrooms for example, use less sticks. At Hairy Fairy, we believe 4 diffuser sticks works well when using citrus and floral based diffusers in our office space. If we use more sticks than this, it can be overwhelming in small spaces. Though, it is entirely up to you how intense you would like the scent.
Protect Your Surfaces
We wouldn't want our reed diffusers to leave any unwanted marks in and around your home, so we suggest placing them on a drinks coaster (ceramic, glass, etc.) or upon a glass table. Please take caution when placing on wooden surfaces as the essential oils can leave marks.
Children & Pets
Diffusers are meant to stand alone and to be left untouched. If children and pets are around diffusers, please keep the diffusers high and out of reach. We wouldn't want your loved ones to cause themselves any harm. Spilled diffusers can also damage table surfaces. Diffuser oils should not be ingested. If ingested please seek medical advice as soon as possible.
No More Plug In's
Opt for a reed diffuser over a plug in diffusers and air fresheners, as the residual chemicals from common deodorizing products like these contain toxic chemicals that accumulate in ever-increasing amounts in the human body over a sustained period of time.
Don't Dispose
After roughly 6 months, you will notice there may be little essential oil left in your reed diffuser, however, don't dispose of the reed diffuser as it can be refilled with more essential oils or even used elsewhere in the home as a decoration. Think economically and also save money.
